Estimated reading: 3 minutes 227 views

Stripe Integrations: Stripe is a financial services platform that helps all types of businesses accept payments, build flexible billing models, and manage money movement.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the Stripe integrations using Bit Flows. We’ll use Bit Form as the trigger, but you’re free to choose any other trigger based on your needs and preferences. Once the setup is complete, data from each form submission will be automatically sent to Stripe for processing or interaction.

This beginner-friendly tutorial walks you through each step, making it easy to build your first smart automation with Bit Flows and Stripe.

Authorization of Stripe Integrations

To set Stripe as an action in Bit Flows, first open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. From the list of available apps, search for and select Stripe.

After selecting your preferred action, the next step is to choose an event. For example, in this case, we’ve selected the “Create a Customer” event.

  • Create a Customer
  • Create an Invoice
  • Create a Product
  • Create a Subscription
  • Create a PaymentIntent
  • Cancel a Subscription
  • Retrieve Balance
  • Retrieve Customer
  • Retrieve Customer By ID
  • Retrieve Price
  • Retrieve Subscriptions
  • Retrieve Subscriptions By Subscription ID
  • Retrieve Subscription By Customer ID

Here, you can either select an existing connection if you’ve already created one, or create a new one by simply clicking the “Add connection ” button.

When you click the Add Connection button, you’ll be prompted to enter a name for your connection. Simply type in the Name and Value then click connect.

To get your Client Secret (Value) Follow those steps:

  • Go to your Stripe account and Go to setting from the top right corner.
  • Click on Developer.
  • Click Manage API keys.
  • Copy the Secret key and past it to the value field in your bit flow connection.
  • Click on Connect

Follow bellow steps:

Field Mapping: Here, you’ll see a “Map Fields” section where you need to map your form fields to the matching fields in Stripe. You can also click the “Meta Data” button to map additional fields. Additionally, you can enhance your request logic using FlowMathString, and System functions.

When you click the Test Run button, the output will be displayed just above it. However, please note that Test Run results are not recorded in the logs.

You also have the option to test the full flow. You can either click “Listen Response” and then run the trigger event (e.g., submit the form), or use existing data to test the integration and make sure everything works correctly.

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up an automation in Bit Flows to connect Bit Form with Stripe. Now, whenever someone submits your form, a new subscriber will be automatically run actor to your Stripe account.

This integration helps you grow your email list, automate lead nurturing, and streamline your marketing efforts—all with minimal effort. For more help or to explore additional integrations, be sure to check out our comprehensive User Guide.
