Elastic Email Integrations: Elastic Email Integrations mighty email delivery solution and easy API integration suited for businesses of any size. Robust email delivery, advanced analytics and powerful sending features for your company

In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Bit Form with Elastic Email, where Bit Form acts as the trigger and Elastic Email is the action. Once the integration is complete, a new contact will be automatically added to your Elastic Email list every time someone submits your form.

This beginner-friendly, step-by-step tutorial is designed to help you set up your first automation with ease—allowing you to grow your email audience, improve outreach, and manage contacts effortlessly right from your WordPress site.

Authorization of Elastic Email Integrations as Action

To set Elastic Email as an action in Bit Flows, first open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. From the list of available apps, search for and select Elastic Email.

After selecting your preferred action, the next step is to choose an event. For example, in this case, we’ve selected the “Create Contact” event.

  • Create Contact

After selecting the action event, a new popup will appear. Here, you need to connect your Elastic Email account. If you’ve already connected Elastic Email before and want to use the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. If not, click on “Add Connection” to create a new one.

If you’ve already created a connection earlier and want to use it with the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. This saves time and avoids creating duplicate connections.

When you click the Add Connection button, you’ll be prompted to enter a name for your connection and supply your API Key as value.

To set up Elastic Email integrations with Bit Flows, you’ll need Elastic Email API Token. Follow these steps to get it.

  • Go to the Elastic Email API Console or log in to your Elastic Email account.
  • Click on Settings in the left sidebar.
  • Click on Create Additional API Key.
  • Enter a name and description for your API key.
  • Choose the Full Access permission level.
  • Click the Create button.
  • Copy the API key that is generated.
  • Paste it into the value field in Bit Flows to complete the connection.

Once you have successfully entered your Elastic Email API Key, click “Connect” button to proceed.

Contact Lists: Select the List from the drop-down option. You have to create a list before on your Elastic Email account.

Contact Status: Select the Contact Status from the drop-down option.

Field Mapping: Here, you’ll see a “Map Fields” section where you need to map your form fields to the matching fields in Elastic Email. The “Email” field is required by Elastic Email, so make sure to map your form’s Email field to it. You can also click the “Add Column” button to map additional fields. Additionally, you can enhance your request logic using FlowMathString, and System functions.

Custom Field Mapping: Here, you can map your form fields to the custom fields you’ve set up in Elastic Email. This feature is optional and adds extra flexibility to your integration. Simply click the “Add Column” button to map additional fields as needed. To enable more dynamic and personalized data handling, you can also use Flow, Math, String, and System functions.

Before mapping, make sure to create a custom field in Elastic Email. Then, copy the API name of that field and paste it into the Custom Field Mapping section, aligning it with the appropriate trigger field from your form.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the popup to complete the setup.

When you click the Test Run button, the output will be displayed just above it. However, please note that Test Run results are not recorded in the logs.

You also have the option to test the full flow. You can either click “Listen Response” and then run the trigger event (e.g., submit the form), or use existing data to test the integration and make sure everything works correctly.

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up an automation in Bit Flows to connect Bit Form with Elastic Email. Now, whenever someone submits your form, a new subscriber will be automatically added to your Elastic Email contact list.

This integration allows you to expand your email audience, automate your communication flow, and enhance your marketing efficiency—all directly from your WordPress forms. For more assistance or to explore additional integration options, don’t forget to check out our comprehensive User Guide.
