HubSpot Integration: The HubSpot app for Bit Flows automatically creates contacts or deals in HubSpot when a form is submitted or orders is created. This means your CRM stays up to date without extra work. To connect HubSpot, open your workflow in Bit Flows, choose HubSpot from the actions, and log in with your HubSpot details. It only takes a minute.

Step 1: Create a new Integration

With Bit Flows, integrating HubSpot into a WordPress website becomes simple. Every form submission on your WordPress site is automatically added as a new contact or deal in your HubSpot CRM.

First, open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, first click the plus (+) icon to add a trigger as you wish. In this setup, Bit Form is used as the trigger, and HubSpot is used as the action.

Step 2: Select Bit Form as the trigger

From the trigger app list, search for Bit Form and select it. Then choose the exact form you want to use for this automation. Make sure this is the same form your visitors will actually submit.

This is important because Bit Flows will capture data from the selected form only

Step 3: Add HubSpot as the Action

After setting the trigger, click the plus icon again to add an action. Search for HubSpot from the app list and select it.

Step 4: Start the HubSpot Connection

  • Click the Add Connection button to authorize the connection between Bit Flows and HubSpot.
  • In the pop-up window, provide a connection name (you can name it anything you like).
  • Enter your HubSpot private app access token in the Value field.

To get the HubSpot API key, you need to log in to your HubSpot Account and follow the steps below.

Step 5: Authorize the HubSpot

Log in to your HubSpot account and go to Settings. From the left-side menu, go to Integrations and then Legacy Apps. After that, click Create from the top right area. Then select Create private apps.

Give your app a name, go to the Scopes section, and add the permissions you need. Once that is done, click Create App, then click Continue Creating. After the app is created, click Show to reveal the private app key, then copy that key.

Go back to Bit Flows and paste the copied HubSpot private key into the Value field of the connection pop-up. Then click Connect. Once the connection is successful, Bit Flows will move you to the action settings screen.

Now in the Bit Flows Dashboard, a new pop-up will appear to set your Employment Role, Employment Seniority, Employment Sub Role, and Lead Status. Set these fields based on your needs. These are optional preferences that help organize the contact properly inside HubSpot.

Step 6: Map Bit Form Fields to HubSpot Fields

Now map the Bit Form fields to the matching HubSpot fields so the submitted form data goes to the correct place in your CRM. For example, map the Bit Form email field to HubSpot’s Email field, and map the name field to First Name or other matching fields.

Remember, the Email field is your required field.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the pop-up to complete the setup.

Congratulations! You have successfully set up HubSpot as your action with Bit Flows.

Step 7: Test the Full Flow with a Form Submission

After setting up the trigger and actions, you can test your flow to verify if the integration is working correctly. To do this, simply click on Test Flow Once. Then, complete the trigger event, which in this case is Bit Form Submit.

Step 8: Check the Integration Log

After the test, open the Logs section from the top right corner of the flow screen. There, you can verify whether the Trigger and Action worked successfully.
