Estimated reading: 4 minutes 227 views

JetEngine Integrations: Use JetEngine Integrations as Action in Bit Flow to automate your WordPress custom content management directly from your workflows. When triggered by forms, CRMs, e‑commerce platforms, or any connected app, Bit Flow can create custom post types, manage meta fields, update Custom Content Type (CCT) data, and control dynamic content in JetEngine—automatically and instantly.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Bit Form with JetEngine, where Bit Form acts as the trigger and JetEngine is the action. Once the integration is complete, a new subscriber will be automatically added to your JetEngine list every time someone submits your form.

This beginner-friendly, step-by-step tutorial is designed to help you set up your first automation with ease—enabling you to grow your subscriber base, streamline communication, and manage contacts directly from your JetEngine site.

Authorization of JetEngine Integrations as Action

To set JetEngine as an action in Bit Flows, first open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. From the list of available apps, search for and select JetEngine.

After selecting your preferred action, the next step is to choose an event. For example, in this case, we’ve selected the “Create Post” event.

  • Create Custom Content Type Item
  • Update Custom Content Type Item
  • Add Repeater Item to Custom Content Type
  • Get All Custom Content Types (CCT)
  • Get Items By Custom Content Type (CCT)
  • Get Custom Content Types (CCT) Item By Id
  • Get Custom Content Type Records by Field
  • Create Post
  • Update Post
  • Update Post Meta Fields
  • Update Field by ID
  • Add Repeater Item to Custom Post Type
  • Get Posts By Post Type
  • Get Post By Id
  • Get All Post Types (CPT)
  • Update Option Page Field
  • Get All Option Pages
  • Get Option Page By Slug
  • Get Option Field Value

Now you need to select Post Type, for this click on the dropdown menu and click on the post type which you want to set. You can choose “Any Post Type” to apply the trigger to all post type, or select a specific post—for example, we’ve chosen Any Post Type in this case.

Field Mapping: Here, you’ll see a “Map Fields” section where you need to map your form fields to the matching fields in JetEngine. The “Post Type and Post Title” field is required by JetEngine, so make sure to map Post Type and Post Title fields to your form’s JetEngine field to it. Additionally, you can enhance your request logic using FlowMathString, and System functions.

Select your post status from the dropdown menu

If you want to add Meta Fields simply click on Add Meta Fields Button and map the Meta Field and value.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the popup to complete the setup.

When you click the Test Run button, the output will be displayed just above it. However, please note that Test Run results are not recorded in the logs.

You also have the option to test the full flow. You can either click “Listen Response” and then run the trigger event (e.g., submit the form), or use existing data to test the integration and make sure everything works correctly.

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up an automation in Bit Flows to connect Bit Form with JetEngine. Now, whenever someone submits your form, a post will create in your JetEngine course.
