Lemlist Integration with Bit Flows – Add Form Leads to Campaigns

Estimated reading: 4 minutes 23 views

Lemlist Integration: Lemlist is an outbound sales platform that helps teams run personalized multi-channel campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and more. It combines smart personalization, automated sequences, and strong deliverability tools to improve reply rates and increase meeting bookings at scale.

Bit Flows is a WordPress automation plugin that allows you to connect different tools and automate tasks without any coding. It helps businesses build powerful workflow automation by connecting apps and moving data between them automatically.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to automate Lemlist with Bit Flows in 8 steps:

  1. Create Integration
  2. Select Trigger app
  3. Add Lemlist as an Action app
  4. Start the Lemlist connection
  5. Get the Lemlist API token
  6. Field mapping for data sync
  7. Test the automation
  8. Check the integration log

Step 1: Create a New Integration

First, open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, first click the plus (+) icon to add a trigger as you wish. In this setup, Bit Form serves as the trigger and Lemlist as the action.

Step 2: Select Bit Form as the Trigger

From the trigger app list, search for Bit Form and select it. Then choose the exact form you want to use for this automation. Make sure this is the same form your visitors will actually submit.

After selecting the form, capture or fetch the sample form data. This sample data is important because Bit Flows will use it later when you map Bit Form fields with Lemlist fields, such as name, email, or other contact details.

Here is a simple guide to connect Bit Form as the trigger.

Step 3: Add Lemlist as the Action App

After setting the trigger, click the plus icon again to add an action. Search for Lemlist from the app list and select it.

After selecting Lemlist as an action, the next step is to choose an event. There is only one event available called “Create Contact.” So, we’ve selected it.

  • Create Contact

Step 4: Start the Lemlist Connection

  • Click the Add Connection button to authorize the connection between Bit Flows and Lemlist.
  • Provide a Connection Name (you can name it anything you like).
  • You also need to enter your Lemlist API Token in the Secret/Password option. (follow the steps below)

Step 5: Get the Lemlist API Token

To get this Lemlist API Token, you need to log in to your Lemlist Account and go to your Profile, select Settings → Integration → API & Webhooks. Then click on Generate key, give an API Name, and click the Create Key button. Copy the generated API token and paste it into the Bit Flows Secret/Password option. Click Connect to establish the connection.

Step 6: Map Bit Form Fields to Lemlist Fields

Select the Lemlist campaign where you want to add the new contact. Then map the Bit Form fields to the matching Lemlist fields. Now, map the Bit Form fields to the matching Lemlist fields so the submitted form data goes to the correct place.

For example, map the Bit Form Name field to Lemlist’s First Name field, and map the Email field to Form Email or other matching fields.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the pop-up to complete the setup.

Now, your Bit Form to Lemlist automation is ready. From this point, whenever a user submits to your Bit Form, Bit Flows will send the data to your selected Lemlist campaigns automatically.

Step 7: Test the Full Flow with a Form Submission

After setting up the trigger and actions, you can test your flow to verify if the integration is working correctly. To do this, simply click on Test Flow Once. Then complete the trigger event, which in this case is Bit Form Submit.

Step 8: Check the Integration Log

After the test, open the Logs section from the top right corner of the flow screen. There, you can verify whether the Trigger and Action worked successfully.

If the log status shows Success, the Lemlist action is working correctly. Now, whenever someone submits the selected Bit Form, Bit Flows will send the mapped lead data to Lemlist and add the contact to your selected campaign.

You can click Details in the log to review the submitted data, mapped fields, and Lemlist response.
