Pipedrive Integration: Pipedrive is a sales CRM designed to help teams manage deals, track pipelines, and close more sales efficiently. It offers visual deal pipelines, contact management, activity tracking, email integration, and detailed sales reporting.

Bit Flows is a WordPress automation plugin that allows you to connect different tools and automate tasks without any coding. It helps businesses build powerful workflow automation by connecting apps and moving data between them automatically.

Step 1: Create a New Integration

First, open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, first click the plus (+) icon to add a trigger as you wish. In this setup, Pipedrive serves as the trigger and Google Sheets as the action.

Step 2: Select Pipedrive as the Trigger

From the trigger app list, search for Pipedrive and select it.

After selecting Pipedrive, choose the event you want to automate. Now, select your preferred trigger event. In this case, we selected “Lead Created.”

After choosing the event, you will be prompted to select Add Webhook. Click on the “Add Webhook” button to create a new connection. You will be required to enter your Client ID and Client Secret from your Pipedrive app.

Step 3: Pipedrive Authorization

  • First, create a Pipedrive Developer Sandbox account.
  • After creating the account, go to your Pipedrive dashboard.
  • Click on your profile → Developer HubCreate an App.
  • Select Create Public App.
  • Enter an App Name and paste the Callback URL you copied from Bit Flows.
  • Click Save.
  • Enable Leads Scope access.
  • Scroll down to find the Client ID and Client Secret, then copy them.
  • Paste the Client ID and Client Secret into the Bit Flows credentials section.
  • Click Connect to save the connection.

Now go to Bit Flows and click the Listen Response button. While the Listen Response button is spinning, submit or create a Lead in Pipedrive.

Once the data fetching is completed, close the pop-up.

Step 4: Add Google Sheets as the Action app

Click the plus (+) icon to add an Action. Click on “Set Action” to choose where the events data should go. In this case, we choose Google Sheets as an Action.

If you select Google Sheets for the action, as we did, you will see the available events. For example, when you click on Google Sheets, the available events are “Add Row” and “Append or Update Row.”

This means that whenever the trigger event runs, a row of your data will be added to Google Sheets. We selected the Add Row event.

Step 5: Google Sheet Authorization

After choosing the “Add Row” event, you will be prompted to select a connection. Click on the “Add connection” button to create a new connection. You will be required to enter your Client ID and Client Secret from your Google Console app

Additionally, you can set a connection name to easily identify it for future use. If you are unsure how to obtain these credentials, then follow the Google Sheets integrations guide. Remember, for the same Google account, you won’t need to connect again. Next time, simply select the connection from the drop-down list.

Step 6: Field Mapping

After completing authorization, you’ll find a Field Mapping feature. Here, you can link your Pipedrive event fields to the appropriate fields in the Google sheet.

For example, map Pipedrive Lead Title to the Lead Name column, Email to the Email column, Phone to the Phone column, Owner to the Owner column, and Created Time to the Created Date column in Google Sheets.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the pop-up to complete the setup.

Step 7: Test the Full Flow

After setting up the trigger and actions, you can test your flow to verify if the integration is working correctly. To do this, simply click on Test Flow Once. Then, complete the trigger event. In this case, create a new lead in Pipedrive. Bit Flows will detect the Lead Created event and send the mapped data to Google Sheets.

Step 8: Check the Integration Log

After the test, open the Logs section from the top right corner of the flow screen. There, you can verify whether the Trigger and Action worked successfully.

If the log status shows Success, the Pipedrive trigger and Google Sheets action are working correctly. Now, whenever a new lead is created in Pipedrive, Bit Flows will automatically send the mapped lead data to your selected Google Sheet.
