MailerLite Integration: Today, most email marketing services offer automation and landing pages, but MailerLite is truly distinguished by its simple, beautiful UI and attentive customer service. Since making the switch, the Notion VIP email list has exploded, much thanks to the dependability and ease-of-use of MailerLite.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Bit Form with MailerLite, where Bit Form is the trigger and MailerLite is the action. After completing the steps, a new subscriber will be automatically added to MailerLite whenever someone submits your form.

This step-by-step tutorial is perfect for beginners and will help you set up your first automation quickly and easily.

Authorization of MailerLite Integrations as Action

To set MailerLite as an action in Bit Flows, first open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. From the list of available apps, search for and select MailerLite.

After selecting your preferred action, the next step is to choose an event. For example, in this case, we’ve selected the “Create Subscriber” event.

  • Create Subscriber

After selecting the action event, a new popup will appear. Here, you need to connect your MailerLite account. If you’ve already connected MailerLite before and want to use the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. If not, click on “Add Connection” to create a new one.

If you’ve already created a connection earlier and want to use it with the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. This saves time and avoids creating duplicate connections.

When you click the Add Connection button, you’ll be asked to enter a name for your connection and provide your API token.

To get your MailerLite API Token, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your MailerLite account.
  • From the left sidebar, click on “Integrations.”
  • Find the “MailerLite API” section and click “Use.”
  • Click “Generate New Token.”
  • Enter a clear and descriptive name for your token.
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Click “Create Token.”
  • Once the token is generated, copy the API key displayed on the screen and paste it into the Token field in Bit Flows.

After connecting with MailerLite, a new popup will appear for integration settings. Here, you’ll see a “Map Fields” section where you need to map your form fields to the matching fields in MailerLite. The “Email” field is required by MailerLite, so make sure to map your form’s email field to it. You can also click the “Add Field” button to map additional fields.

Additionally, you can choose a Group, set the Subscription Type, and decide whether to update existing subscribers.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the popup to complete the setup.

When you click the Test Run button, the output will be displayed just above it. However, please note that Test Run results are not recorded in the logs.

You also have the option to test the full flow. You can either click “Listen Response” and then run the trigger event (e.g., submit the form), or use existing data to test the integration and make sure everything works correctly.

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up an automation in Bit Flows to connect Bit Form with MailerLite. Now, whenever someone submits your form, a new subscriber will be automatically added to your MailerLite list.

This setup helps you save time, stay organized, and grow your audience effortlessly. If you need more help or want to explore more integrations, feel free to check out our User Guide.
