Pabbly Connect Integrations with Bit Flows – Trigger Flows from Pabbly

Pabbly Connect Integration: Pabbly Connect is a no-code automation platform that connects multiple applications and allows you to send data between them using triggers and actions.

Bit Flows is a WordPress automation plugin that allows you to connect different tools and automate tasks without any coding. It helps businesses build powerful workflow automation by connecting apps and moving data between them automatically.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Pabbly Connect with Bit Flows workflows. Here, Pabbly Connects is the trigger, and Google Sheets is the action. After completing the steps, after completing the setup, Bit Flows will receive data from Pabbly Connect and run the selected workflow automatically.

Set up Pabbly Integrations

First, open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, first click the plus (+) icon to add a trigger as you wish.

From the list, select your preferred trigger. In this case, click on “Pabbly Connect.” Then you’ll see all the available trigger events.

Now, select your preferred trigger event. In this case, there is only one event available called “On Form Submit”. So, we selected it.

After selecting your event, you’ll be asked to choose a Webhook. Click the “Add webhook” button. When you click the “Add Webhook” button, you’ll be prompted to enter a Webhook Name for your webhook. Simply type in the name and click “Save”.

A new pop-up will appear showing the Callback URL. Now, you need to authorize the Callback URL. If you’re unsure how to do this, follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Authorization of Pabbly Integrations as Trigger

• Go to the Pabbly dashboard. Select a Form Trigger in Pabbly as you prefer. Test that form (fill the form and submit)  to receive data in Trigger. 
• After that, select an action called WP Webhooks in Pabbly.
• Set a connection name.
• Then, select the WP Webhook URL. Paste the Callback URL copied from your Bit Flows credentials.
• Select Save.

Map Field

After completing the authorization, map your fields in Pabbly to send data to the Bit Flows trigger. If you’re unsure how to map the fields, refer to the image below.

Once the fields are mapped, click Listen Response in Bit Flows. Then go back to Pabbly and click Save & Send Test Request to send sample data to Bit Flows.

Set Action App

After finishing these steps, go to Bit Flows, close the pop-up, and click the plus (+) icon to add an Action. Click on “Set Action” to choose where the subscriber data should go. In this case, we choose Google Sheets as an Action.

If you select Google Sheets for the action, as we did, you will see the available events that can be performed. For example, when you click on Google Sheets, the available events are “Add Row” and “Append or Update Row.”

This means that whenever the trigger event runs, a row of your data will be added to Google Sheets. We selected the Add Row event.

Google Sheet Authorization

After choosing the “Add Row” event, you will be prompted to select a connection. Click on the “Add connection” button to create a new connection. You will be required to enter your Client ID and Client Secret from your Google Console app.

Additionally, you can set a connection name to easily identify it for future use. Remember, for the same Google account, you won’t need to connect again. Next time, simply select the connection from the drop-down list.

Field Mapping

After completing authorization, you’ll find a “Field Mapping” feature. Here, you can link your form’s fields to the appropriate fields in the Google sheet.

For example:

• Form email → Google Sheets Email column
• Form name → Google Sheets Name column

 Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the pop-up to complete the setup.

After setting up the trigger and actions, you can test your flow to verify if the integration is working correctly. To do this, simply click on Test Flow Once. Then complete the trigger event, which in this case is Pabbly Form Submit.

Integration Log

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

If the log status shows Success, Bit Flows has received the data from Pabbly Connect and sent it to Google Sheets correctly. Now, whenever the selected Pabbly workflow sends data to the Bit Flows Callback URL, this flow will run automatically.

You can click Details in the Bit Flows log to review the received webhook data, mapped fields, and Google Sheets response.
