Brevo Integrations with Bit Flows – Automate Marketing Workflows

Estimated reading: 5 minutes 302 views

Brevo (Sendinblue) Integrations: Grow your business with Brevo, the Email Marketing Platform that goes beyond emails with SMS, chat, and more.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Bit Form with Brevo, where Bit Form acts as the trigger and Brevo handles the action. Once the integration is complete, every time someone submits your form, a new subscriber will be automatically added to your Brevo contact list.

This step-by-step tutorial is designed for beginners and will help you easily connect your WordPress forms with Brevo—enabling you to streamline your email marketing and grow your audience effectively.

Authorization of Brevo Integrations as Action

To set Brevo as an action in Bit Flows, first open your Bit Flows Dashboard, then either create a new flow or open an existing one. In the Flow Builder, click the plus (+) icon to add an action. From the list of available apps, search for and select Brevo.

After selecting your preferred action, the next step is to choose an event. For example, in this case, we’ve selected the “Create Contact” event.

  • Create Contact
  • Add Contacts To list
  • Delete a Contact
  • Remove a contact from a list

After selecting the action event, a new popup will appear. Here, you need to connect your Brevo account. If you’ve already connected Brevo before and want to use the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. If not, click on “Add Connection” to create a new one.

If you’ve already created a connection earlier and want to use it with the same account, simply select it from the “Select Connection” dropdown. This saves time and avoids creating duplicate connections.

When you click the Add Connection button, you’ll be prompted to enter a name for your connection and supply your API Key as the value.

To set up Brevo integrations with Bit Flows, you’ll need Brevo API Key. Follow these steps to get it.

  • Log in to your Brevo account.
  • Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner.
  • Select “SMTP & API” from the dropdown menu.
  • Go to the “API Keys” tab.
  • Click on Generate a new API key.
  • Enter a name for the API key and click “Generate.”
  • Once the key is generated, copy the API key.
  • Paste it into the Value field in Bit Flows to complete the connection.

Once you have successfully entered your Brevo API Key, click “Connect” button to proceed.

Email: In this section, you’ll find a “Map Fields” option where you need to connect your form fields to the corresponding fields in Brevo. The “Email” field is mandatory if the SMS field is not included in the attributes, so be sure to map your form’s email input correctly. You can enhance your request logic using FlowMathString, and System functions.

Attribute Fields: You can also click the “Add Attribute” button to include and map additional fields as needed. Moreover, you can enhance the logic of your request using Flow, Math, String, and System functions for greater control and flexibility.

Contact list: Select the list from the dropdown option. You have to create a list on the Brevo (Sendinblue) dashboard & that will show on the drop-down list.

Select Advance Feature: Select “Advanced Feature”: If you want to enable advanced options, choose “Yes” for the “Select Advanced Feature” setting.

Email Blacklisted: Enable this field to mark the contact as blacklisted for email communication.

SMS Blacklisted: Enable this field to prevent the contact from receiving SMS messages.

Update Enabled: Allows the system to update an existing contact within the same request when updateEnabled is set to true.

SMTP Blacklist Sender: Marks the contact’s email as a forbidden sender for transactional emails. This option applies only to email contacts and requires updateEnabled to be set to true. Click on “Add SMTP Sender” to include a sender in the blacklist.

Once you’ve finished these settings, you can either click the “Test Run” button to check if the integration is working correctly or simply close the popup to complete the setup.

When you click the Test Run button, the output will be displayed just above it. However, please note that Test Run results are not recorded in the logs.

You also have the option to test the full flow. You can either click “Listen Response” and then run the trigger event (e.g., submit the form), or use existing data to test the integration and make sure everything works correctly.

After completing all the steps, click the “Logs” icon at the top-right corner of the Flow Builder to view your integration logs. Logs help you verify if the trigger and action worked correctly and make it easier to spot and fix any issues.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up an automation in Bit Flows to connect Bit Form with Brevo. Now, whenever someone submits your form, a new subscriber will be automatically added to your Brevo contact list.

This integration makes it easy to grow your email audience, automate communication, and save time by streamlining your contact management. For additional help or to discover more integration options, be sure to explore our comprehensive User Guide.
