Zendesk Perplexity Integration with Bit Flows

Create a New Workflow in Bit Flows

Go to:

Bit Flows → Create Workflow → Add Trigger

Select:

Trigger App

Zendesk

Trigger Event

Article Author Changed

Description:

This trigger starts the workflow whenever the Article Author Changed event occurs in Zendesk.

Connect Your Zendesk

Select the Zendesk source you want to automate and complete the connection settings required for the chosen trigger event.

Configure:

• The available source or event settings
• The incoming data provided by the trigger
• Any required connection information

The available options and data depend on the selected platform and trigger event.

Add Perplexity as an Action

Click:

Add Action → Perplexity

Select an Action Event:

• Create a Completion When “Article Author Changed” occurs in Zendesk, use the submitted data to run “Create a Completion” in Perplexity.
• Ask Perplexity When “Article Author Changed” occurs in Zendesk, use the submitted data to run “Ask Perplexity” in Perplexity.

Description:

This action sends data from Zendesk to Perplexity and performs the selected supported operation automatically.

Map Zendesk Data with Perplexity Inputs

Map the available data from Zendesk to the compatible inputs provided by the selected Perplexity action.

The exact values and inputs depend on the selected trigger and action events, so only map data exposed by those events.

Test and Activate Workflow

Run the Article Author Changed trigger and verify the selected Perplexity actions:

• Confirm that Create a Completion completes successfully and processes the mapped data in Perplexity.
• Confirm that Ask Perplexity completes successfully and processes the mapped data in Perplexity.

Then activate your workflow.
