Create a New Workflow in Bit Flows

Go to:

Bit Flows → Create Workflow → Add Trigger

Select:

Trigger App

Cognito Forms

Trigger Event

On Form Submit

Description:

This trigger starts the workflow whenever the On Form Submit event occurs in Cognito Forms.

Connect Your Cognito Forms

Select the Cognito Forms source you want to automate and complete the connection settings required for the chosen trigger event.

Configure:

• The available source or event settings
• The incoming data provided by the trigger
• Any required connection information

The available options and data depend on the selected platform and trigger event.

Add Google Drive as an Action

Click:

Add Action → Google Drive

Select an Action Event:

• Upload File When “On Form Submit” occurs in Cognito Forms, use the submitted data to run “Upload File” in Google Drive.
• Get File When “On Form Submit” occurs in Cognito Forms, use the submitted data to run “Get File” in Google Drive.
• Download File When “On Form Submit” occurs in Cognito Forms, use the submitted data to run “Download File” in Google Drive.

Description:

This action sends data from Cognito Forms to Google Drive and performs the selected supported operation automatically.

Map Cognito Forms Data with Google Drive Inputs

Map the available data from Cognito Forms to the compatible inputs provided by the selected Google Drive action.

The exact values and inputs depend on the selected trigger and action events, so only map data exposed by those events.

Test and Activate Workflow

Run the On Form Submit trigger and verify the selected Google Drive actions:

• Confirm that Upload File completes successfully and processes the mapped data in Google Drive.
• Confirm that Get File completes successfully and processes the mapped data in Google Drive.
• Confirm that Download File completes successfully and processes the mapped data in Google Drive.

Then activate your workflow.
