BuddyPress EmailIt Integration with Bit Flows

Create a New Workflow in Bit Flows

Go to:

Bit Flows → Create Workflow → Add Trigger

Select:

Trigger App

BuddyPress

Trigger Event

Activity Created

Description:

This trigger starts the workflow whenever the Activity Created event occurs in BuddyPress.

Connect Your BuddyPress

Select the BuddyPress source you want to automate and complete the connection settings required for the chosen trigger event.

Configure:

• The available source or event settings
• The incoming data provided by the trigger
• Any required connection information

The available options and data depend on the selected platform and trigger event.

Add EmailIt as an Action

Click:

Add Action → EmailIt

Select an Action Event:

• Send Email When “Activity Created” occurs in BuddyPress, use the submitted data to run “Send Email” in EmailIt.
• Create an Audience When “Activity Created” occurs in BuddyPress, use the submitted data to run “Create an Audience” in EmailIt.
• Subscribe to Audience When “Activity Created” occurs in BuddyPress, use the submitted data to run “Subscribe to Audience” in EmailIt.

Description:

This action sends data from BuddyPress to EmailIt and performs the selected supported operation automatically.

Map BuddyPress Data with EmailIt Inputs

Map the available data from BuddyPress to the compatible inputs provided by the selected EmailIt action.

The exact values and inputs depend on the selected trigger and action events, so only map data exposed by those events.

Test and Activate Workflow

Run the Activity Created trigger and verify the selected EmailIt actions:

• Confirm that Send Email completes successfully and processes the mapped data in EmailIt.
• Confirm that Create an Audience completes successfully and processes the mapped data in EmailIt.
• Confirm that Subscribe to Audience completes successfully and processes the mapped data in EmailIt.

Then activate your workflow.
