The process is–what steps you need to follow to reach your goal; like to see results you need to check the University website.

Whereas, workflow is–how you’re going to follow the steps to reach your goal. Check out the example, first, you need to go to your University website > navigate to Student Portal > Log In to your account > Search for the particular semester result you’re looking for.

¿Qué es la automatización?

If I say most simply, automation involves machinery or technology to do any task without any manual effort. The main objective behind using automation is to improve working efficiency, save time, and reduce human error.

Starting from simple to complex, almost every type of automation follows the same mechanism such as–When this happens, then do this

Benefits of Workflow Automation

Benefits of workflow automation

Workflow automation optimizes the customer experience by offering immediate responses, and customized messages, which as a result boosts customer satisfaction.

  • Better workflow efficiency:

When tasks are performed in the right order and at the right time, the overall workflow efficiency automatically increases.

  • Reduces the workload of employees:

With the help of automation, employees get more time to focus on creative and meaningful activities. This as a result creates a feeling of satisfaction within them and motivates them.

  • Reduced operational cost and increased scalability:

Since tasks that once required a larger workforce are now automated, this saves your company a huge deal of operational costs. With less spending on additional resources, you can invest in other important areas that will help your business to scale.

Now that you’re familiar with workflow automation, it’s time to learn about the tools that make it a reality: workflow automation software.

What Are Workflow Automation Tools?

Workflow automation tools are like Jarvis to your business—super efficient and designed to elevate your business workflows. These tools automate redundant and recurring tasks, allowing your team to work on other creative tasks.

While the market is filled with several automation tools, selecting the correct one that serves your business interest can be a truly overwhelming job. Currently, these tools for example Bit Flows, ClickUp, Monday, Zapier, Suretrigger, and more are performing great in the automation sector.

How Do Workflow Automation Tools Work?

It follows a simple mechanism of desencadenar y acción to complete a specific activity. Let me elaborate on what these triggers and actions are:

  • Trigger: It is the starting point of workflow automation. It is said to be the “if” in an “If-then” condition.

For example, when a customer submits a form on your website, then the form data is automatically added to a new row in Google Sheets. Right after that, an auto-generated message is sent to a specific Discord channel.

Can you guess the trigger in this example? Let me help you, It is the form submission! That’s the event that initiates all the following events of the workflow.

  • Action: Actions are the events that happen in response to a trigger event. They are the “then” part of the “If-then” conditional logic.

Consider the above example, after form submission, events that occurred onwards are the action events–like adding form data to the spreadsheet and sending a message to the Discord channel automatically all are actions.

P.D: For this setup, I used a router tool to send data to both applications simultaneously.

Here, I’ve demonstrated a very simple workflow design. You can create more complex workflows, you can add a chain of Acciones to make an advanced multi-tasking system. Also, you can use powerful tools such as Router, Repetidor, Retraso, Condiciones, y Iterador that are available in Bit Flows.

Let’s see an advanced workflow design,

For example, you want to automate the employee onboarding process. So that whenever a new worker joins the company the details of the candidate automatically get enrolled into the database, which used to take hours.

Step-by-Step Workflow Design:

Disparador:
